Why is there so much white space on websites?
Whitespace (also known as negative space) is the empty space around the content and elements on a web page. It's used to balance the page's design, organize the content and elements, and improve the visual experience for the user.
What is white space in design?
White space is the area between design elements. It is also the space within individual design elements, including the space between typography glyphs (readable characters). Despite its name, white space does not need to be white. It can be any color, texture, pattern, or even a background image.
