How do you calculate total impressions?
Impressions are the total number of exposures to your advertisement. One person can receive multiple exposures over time. If one person was exposed to an advertisement five times, this would count as five impressions. Impressions are calculated by multiplying the number of Spots by Average Persons.
What does impressions mean in business?
An impression is counted each time your ad is shown on a search result page or other site on the Google Network. Note: If your ad or keywords aren't receiving enough impressions, read Issues with fluctuating impressions. Each time your ad appears on Google or the Google Network, it's counted as one impression.
What do impressions mean on?
Impressions are the number of times your content is displayed, no matter if it was clicked or not. Think of reach as the number of unique people who see your content. In a perfect world, every one of your followers would see every piece of content you posted.
Are impressions better than views?
Views on the other hand are a measure of the number of times your video has been watched. Read our Knowledge Base post to learn what counts as a view. Your impressions will always be greater than your views, as not everyone will click to watch your video. Think it impressions and views as funnels.
