Why is the bus grey on transit app?
To let riders know about a cancellation, transit agencies can add this information to the app in real time. (Not all agencies do this yet, but it's becoming more and more common!) You'll know a trip has been cancelled by your agency when the departure has a real-time symbol but it's turned grey and is crossed out.
What app tells you when the bus is coming?
Using real-time information, the First Bus App also lets you know when your next bus is arriving, and available capacity; helping to prevent long waits at the bus stop. With the First Bus App you can track your bus live on a map so you know exactly where it is and when it will get to your stop.
