How to Set mailto default?

Go to Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll down to Applications, and under Content Type look for the mailto option. The dropdown menu next to it is where you can specify which email program you want to use. It could be Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, or any other desktop email program such as Thunderbird or Microsoft Outlook.

What is the difference between mailto form and mailto link?

1. Links to contact forms are trackable, mailtos are not. As mailto links simply open a new email message in the recipient's email client (and not a new page), these clicks can't be tracked in your campaign reports. Using a contact form is a far more elegant way to measure responses, non-completes, and more.

How to open mailto links?

In the General tab, scroll down to the Applications section. Next to Mailto, click the drop-down and change it to Use Gmail. Close the Options tab. Go to a website that has mailto links and click on an email address.
