Why are volume buttons on iPad reversed?
Go to Settings > Sounds. Turn on Fixed Position Volume Controls if you want the volume buttons to always have the same behavior. Turn it off if you want the volume buttons to change dynamically depending on the orientation of your iPad.

Reboot Your Phone
This will restart all background services and refresh your phone's core components in case something had crashed or malfunctioned. If you have a Google Pixel running Android 12 or Android 13, then you can reboot your phone without using any buttons at all.

Make Sure Your iPhone's Volume Buttons Are Enabled
To check this, head to Settings > Sounds & Haptics and enable Change with Buttons. If this isn't enabled, this is why your volume buttons aren't working.
