What should be included in a user profile?

What is personalization and what role should it take in the future of interface design?
The main goal of personalization is to provide contextual experience by delivering content and functionality that aligns with specific user needs or interests without any particular effort from users. The app profiles the user and algins the interface according to that profile.
What is the difference between user profile and persona?
Alan Cooper writes in his book “About Face” that designers often say “user profile” interchangeably with “user persona,” but the two are very different. A profile is a high-level description of a user avatar. A persona is based on real users drawn directly from user research and observations of real people.
