Should Sidebar be on left or right?
The sidebar traditionally goes on the left or the top side because usually a sidebar containing important links which are much needed for quicker access and need to be drawn attention to by the user.
What is left navigation menu?
With a left navigation, the navigation links occupy the left column of your page. This shrinks and narrows the content area of your page, which means you will have less space for your content.
Why are menus on the left?
The hamburger menu icon was first introduced in the early days of the web (when we did not design for mobile screens), and it was usually placed in the top-left corner of the screen. This was because the top-left corner was the traditional location for the menu bar.
Why is the navigation bar at the top?
The purpose of a navigation bar is to help your user browse through your website effortlessly. A navigation bar is usually placed at the top of your website. On a mobile phone, the navigation bar is usually placed on your website's top left and looks like a hamburger or, as typically referred to – a hamburger button.
