Why does Amazon hide price?
In most cases, the reason for the hidden price is the MAP (minimum advertised pricing) policy. This is the lowest price a retailer can advertise for sale, and is based on an agreement in which the manufacturer sets a lower price limit for advertising to its resellers.

Sellers withhold prices from customers to retain power in customer negotiations and over competitors. Having to call for prices increases the customer's commitment to the purchase.
How do I find price variation on Amazon?
Now, head to Amazon and search for the product whose price you want to track. Scroll a bit, and you will see a graph of price changes over weeks, months or years. There is also an option for “Track product”, where you can enter your desired price and start tracking that item.
