Why do we use date picker?
Use a date picker to let a user pick a known date, such as a date of birth, where the context of the calendar is not important. If the context of a calendar is important, consider using a calendar date picker or calendar view. For more info about choosing the right date control, see the Date and time controls article.
How do you use a date picker?
Date pickers look like text boxes, except that a small calendar icon appears on the right side of the box. To open the pop-up calendar, users click the calendar icon. When the calendar appears, users can click the date that they want on the calendar or use the right and left arrow buttons to scroll through the months.
What is meant by date picker?
A date picker is a widget that enables users to pick one (or more) dates and possibly times from a pre-defined range.
