Does it makes a different which shift key you use to type a capital letter?
You can use the 'shift' key to type any symbol at the top of a key. The 'caps lock' key allows you to write in capital letters.
Which shift to use when typing?
There are two shift keys; each is pressed by the right or left fourth finger (your pinkie finger). Use the right shift key when typing letters or symbols with the left hand. Use the left shift key when typing letters or symbols with the right hand.
How do we shift in touch typing?
Your pinky fingers are responsible for pressing the SHIFT keys. When a finger presses a key, the other hand's pinky presses the SHIFT key. For example, if your left index finger is going to press the F key for the uppercase version then your right pinky will press the SHIFT key.
