How are MATLAB files saved?
By default, MATLAB saves a backup copy of a modified file every five minutes using the same file name but with an . asv extension. For example, filename. m would have a backup file name of filename.
Where does MATLAB Online save files?
MATLAB places the files in the current folder. To upload them to a specific folder, drag them over the desired folder in the Current Folder browser. Alternatively, you can upload files by going to the Home tab, and in the File section, clicking the Upload button.
