Where should a back button be placed?
Place a persistent Back to Top button in the lower right side of the page. This is where people expect to see it. This position is out of the way, but noticeable. When the button is placed in a different place on the screen, it is often ignored.
Should back button be on top or bottom?
Top-left seems to be the ideal position for the "Back" button due to the following reasons: All traditional and modern PC browsers have it there.
Should the primary button be on the left or right?
Full page designs should have the primary button on the left side of the page. If the browser window is large, or you have to scroll down to fill out a form, it's best to have the primary button right below the last bit of content on the page.
Is the back button on Android left or right?
