What is filter message in email?
When you enable email filtering, you allow the software to independently analyze incoming emails for red flags that signal spam/phishing content and automatically move those emails to a separate folder. Most major email providers have spam filters built in that move questionable emails to a "Junk" or "Spam" folder.
How do I filter emails in Outlook?
From any email folder, select Filter Email from the Find group in the Ribbon. Once you select a filter, Outlook searches your mailbox based on that filter. You'll also see the shorthand for the filter in the search box.
How do I check my filters on my email?
Click the Settings gear icon on the top right in Gmail. Choose “Settings” in the menu and then select “Filters & Blocked Addresses” along the top.
