How do you choose the right typeface for your website?
When choosing web fonts, you often have to weigh several considerations together. While the length of your text helps determine which font you select, the size at which you're setting type is another important factor. At relatively small sizes, up to 16pt, try sans serif options like Roboto, Montserrat and Raleway.
How do I localize a font?
Open Google Fonts, click the extension icon, and select a language. Then, fonts shown will be forced to render glyphs specific to the chosen language, if they have such. Note that some fonts may not have localized glyphs. In that case, they will render the default glyphs for that script.
Can you use different fonts on a website?
Keep The Number of Fonts Used At a Minimum
Using more than 3 different fonts makes a website look unstructured and unprofessional. Keep in mind that too many type sizes and styles at once can also wreck any layout.
Should you use the same font throughout your website?
A website should use no more than two different font families. More than that will begin to look too busy and your user will leave and find an easier to read website and never turn back.
