Is Material Design still a thing?

Material Design has also been adopted by the wider design community and can now be found on websites and apps far outside of Google's native platforms (and even on competing platforms). Simplenote, for example, uses a Material Design aesthetic across its apps for desktop and mobile platforms.

What is material 3 design?

Material 3 includes updated theming, components and Material You personalization features like dynamic color, and is designed to be cohesive with the new visual style and system UI on Android 12 and above. Note: The terms “Material Design 3”, “Material 3”, and “M3” are interchangeable.

What is Material Design UX design?

Material Design is an Android-oriented design language created by Google, supporting onscreen touch experiences via cue-rich features and natural motions that mimic real-world objects.
