When not to use accordions?
Forcing people to click on headings one at a time to display full content can be cumbersome, especially if there are many topics on the list that individuals care about. If people need to open the majority of subtopics to have their questions answered or to get the full story then an accordion is not the way to go.
What is an accordion tab?
Accordions are a graphical control element comprising a vertically stacked list of items. Each item can be "expanded" or "collapsed" to reveal the content associated with that item. Tabs are similar to Accordions in that they contain information that can be expanded and collapsed.
What is accordion in UI design?
In web design, an accordion is a type of menu that displays a list of headers stacked on top of one another. When clicked on (or triggered by a keyboard interaction or screen reader), these headers will either reveal or hide associated content.
