What is double-click speed?
The double-click speed (sensitivity) affects the speed at which a mouse or touchpad button needs to be pressed in order to activate a double-click option. Click the Start button, and then click Control Panel. In the Control Panel window, under Hardware and Sound, click Mouse.
How many times do we click in a double-click?
A Double-click is the act of pressing a computer button twice quickly without moving the mouse.
How does double-clicking happen?
If you are using a wireless mouse, the double-clicking issue may be caused by interference of the mouse's wireless signal to the wireless receiver. If the wireless signal is disrupted by interference, it can cause the computer to receive incorrect signals or misinterpret signals from the mouse.
Why is my double-click so slow?
Under Related settings in the right column, click Additional mouse options. In the Mouse Properties window that appears, select the Buttons tab. In the Double-click speed section adjust the speed slider to set a more comfortable speed. You can test your setting by double-clicking on the folder icon.
