Why does Salesforce allow deactivated users instead of deleting users?
After departure from the org, you obviously don't want the user to retain access to their account. However, merely deleting a user can result in orphaned records and the loss of critical business information. For these reasons, deactivating rather than deleting the user is the appropriate action to take.
Does deactivating an account mean deleting?
Tip: The main difference between deactivating and deleting a user is that a deactivated user can be reactivated while deleting a user is permanent. Keep in mind that if a user is deleted from the account and then needs to be added back to the account, they will be added as a brand new user.
Why is delete account not an option on Instagram?
The option to permanently delete your account will only appear after you've selected a reason from the menu and entered your password. Tap Delete [username].
What does it mean if someone deactivates their account?
Deactivation. Deactivating your account is less drastic than deleting the account. The option enables you to practically delete your Facebook, only you'll have the option to return and reactivate the account.
