What is a UX wizard?

A wizard is a setup assistant that guides the user through a series of steps or conditions that must be completed in order to achieve a goal. This software simplifies complicated tasks into manageable, smaller tasks, and instructs the user on how to complete these steps as they reach their end-goal (Babich 2018).

What is a wizard flow?

Wizard flow defines the order in which wizard panels execute. Wizard panels can move in a straight line from start to finish, or branch into several different process flows.

What is a wizard interface?

A software wizard or setup assistant is a user interface that presents a dialog box to lead the user through a sequence of small steps. It's often used to configure a program or service for the first time. Complex, rare, or unfamiliar tasks may be easier with a wizard that breaks the task down into simpler pieces.
