Then go to the INSERT tab, click Quick Parts, and Field. Then scroll down and click TC. Type the name of the subsection, then check TC entry in doc with multiple tables. This will add a switch to the code – the \f switch – that enables us to add multiple Tables of Contents.

Labelling Tables and Figures
Figure captions are generally placed below the figures, while table captions must be placed above the tables. This is because we generally read tables from the top down, and therefore want to see the caption at the top. Figures are not always read top down.
How do I put table of contents together?
Put your cursor where you want to add the table of contents. Go to References > Table of Contents. and choose an automatic style. If you make changes to your document that affect the table of contents, update the table of contents by right-clicking the table of contents and choosing Update Field.
